Statement of Objectives

1. To foster and promote activities geared towards the holistic development of women and girls.

2. To provide support to groups and other agencies that promote and develop social protection for vulnerable women and girls. Collaborate with other agencies with a common interest as the organisation.

3. To establish a system to help identify community needs among women and girls and provide a forum for discussion and solutions on these matters.

4. To organize and implement activities in alleviating deprivation and or provides social relief through donations, fund raising, community projects, programmes, and forums.

5. To reduce drop out rate in girls' education, ensure every woman and girl have a right to education, and are treated fairly

6. To organize training and undertake social development activities geared towards the advancement of women, girls and other members of society who may require such services.

7. To bring awareness to issues which affect the vulnerable population and work with the relevant agencies to find practical solutions.

8. To create a functional link between GUF and other organizations assist women and girls in settling and integrating into Canadian society

9. To promote community outreach projects and programmes for the benefit of the community.

10. To connect women and girls to resource that will contribute to their growth and development
